The Castro Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud of our relationships with our state legislators and meet regularly to communicate business issues.
 

The Chamber CEO spends on average one day per month in the State Capital representing the interests of Castro Valley business. In 2004, she delivered packets containing over 40 Workers' Compensation effect letters to 50 legislators. We believe that our voice made a difference in the Workers' Compensation Reform legislation and will continue to make our voice heard.
 

We are also proud of our efforts in opposition of the mandated health care proposition which would have been a tremendous burden on business.
